Alexis Kapanga

English/ French Interpreter & Translator

Alexis Kapanga is a professional interpreter, biology scientist and researcher in CVDs. He speaks fluently French and English and interprets in both.

He did his primary and secondary school in Congo DR.

Mr Kapanga then went to the Universite Nationale du Zaire (ISP) where he obtained his Degree in Bio-chemistry and Masters in Biology.

In 1998 he came to Zambia to teach at Hillcrest.

Then pursued his Degree in French Foreign Language with Grenoble University (France) and later obtained his Diploma in Translation and Interpretation with Ciep.

From 2008 up to date he has carried out interpretations for health, army, finance, UN, EU, AU, SADC, COMESA, ADPA, WDC, IOM, WHO, etc.

He is still remembered for his role during the inauguration of the Kazungula bridge on the 20th March 2021 with six Heads of State.

In 2023 he was sampled to interpret for the world scientists on sickle cell anaemia.
